Malavika Rajnarayan pursued BFA in Painting from the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore in 2003 and an MFA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara in 2006. She is an arts educator and works with the Azim Premji Foundation as an Arts Resource Person, supporting visual arts and music teachers in their classroom practices. Her visual language is informed by miniature painting traditions, where the poignancy of ideas are conveyed through beauty, grace and poetry.
